K12 Weapons Detection Grant 2025 Form

Following the success of our 2024 grant award, Equature is proud to launch The Safe Schools Initiative Program—a national project through which selected K-12 schools will receive full funding for our Aware weapon detection software and hardware.

We believe that every student deserves to feel safe in school, and we are committed to helping schools implement effective weapon detection solutions. Since we are a national market leader in providing video surveillance analytics, Equature recognizes the unique security, budgetary, and infrastructure challenges faced by educational institutions. Our software and hardware are designed to be easy to use and affordable, and they can be integrated with existing security systems. Our video surveillance analytic weapon detection solutions help provide a safe environment so students and staff can focus on what matters most – education.

The Equature Aware weapons detection solution will include:

Equature Aware weapon detection core software and 12 camera licenses
Equature Aware server
Implementation, training, and support
With no reoccurring maintenance cost on the server or 12 camera licenses

To be eligible to receive full funding for the Equature Aware weapons detection solution, schools must meet the following criteria:

Be located in the United States
Serve students in grades K-12
Have a demonstrated need for weapon detection technology

Applications will be reviewed by an independent committee selected by Equature, and the schools will be awarded based on the following criteria:

The school's need for weapon detection technology
The school's commitment to implementing a comprehensive school safety plan
The school's ability to effectively use the donated software and hardware

Applications will be accepted from April 28th, 2025, to August 29th, 2025.
